SERVICES

Comprehensive Transformer Testing

We offer Transformer tests as per IEC 60076:

  • Winding resistance LV and HV side

  • Tap Changer continuity Tests

  • Leakage reactance Tests

  • No-Load current Tests

  • Magnetic balance

  • Vector Group Checks 

  • Full Demagnetizing after DC Tests

  • Turns Ratio Tests on all Taps (TTR)​

  • Insulation Resistance tests (1kV, 2.5kV, 5kV)

  • Oil Breakdown High Voltage Tests as per IEC 60156

  • Oil Moisture tests Parts Per Million (PPM) as Per IEC 60422/IEC 60296

  • Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA) as per IEC IEC 60076 and DL/T911-2016

Earthing Tests

We offer the following tests in Earthing Scope:

  • Soil Resistivity and Soil Modelling

  • Earth Grid Design using ETAP

  • Step and Touch Voltages

  • Earth Grid Testing using fall of potential method (up to 2km) with high current Injection Method

  • Earth Resistance (Real and Complex Parts to determine resistance and Inductance of the Grid)

  • All Designs and tests done as Per BS7671 and IEEE81 and using Calibrated Equipment

  • Other tests include Earth Bond Testing, Galvanic Corrosion Checks, Earth Leakage Current Tests

  • Earthing tests for Commercial and Industrial applications

  • Routine Earth Resistance Checks

Protection Relay Tests

Altair Systems offers the following Relay Tests:

  • Winding Resistance

Thermography

High Voltage Tests

  • VLF for Cables up to 60kVpms

  • Hi-pot Testing 12kVDC & kVAC
